Shu Ren International School Annual Winter Market

Posted in

Shu Ren International School recently held its annual Winter Market throughout the week of December 13-17, 2021. This experience captured the spirit of community, giving, and joy. Each class hosted a market selling unique gifts made by the individual students in their art classes. We congratulate our students for also taking ownership and entrepreneurship during the market. A big thank you to Parent Community Group is in order for their hard work in preparing baked goods and gift bags for the community. The PCG also organized a raffle with some sought-after prizes (e.g., an SF Giants game, How to Make Sushi kit, etc.) As with tradition, Shu Ren International School donated all the proceeds of $2,150 to the Alameda County Food Bank.

Established over 25 years ago, the Alameda County Food Bank has distributed millions of healthy meals every year, and are on the forefront of new approaches to ending hunger and poverty. Shu Ren International School is proud to support such a valuable organization.
